Katie Lee is a former US Nationals competitor in Senior Ladies with 16 years of competitive experience and 8 years of coaching experience. After retiring from skating, Katie earned a B.S. degree (with honors) in Communications and now enjoys a career in educational media in Washington, DC. Her areas of experience include transitioning from skating to college, finding your identity outside of sport, healing from trauma and overcoming perfectionism (which remains a work in progress). Katie would like to advise other athletes making their transition out of competition.
